Slide

Slide is an engaging card game that challenges players to get rid of their cards to achieve the lowest possible score. Each game is a real strategic challenge, where planning and tactical choices are essential to victory. The game begins with each player receiving sixteen cards, placed face down in a 4x4 grid. The cards range from 1 to 10, with ten copies of each number. This initial layout creates a dynamic and challenging playing field, which will test your skills.

At the start, each player chooses a card from their grid and reveals it. The player with the lowest number starts the turn, taking a revealed card and sliding it into their grid to fill the gap that has been created. This process continues for fifteen rounds, with players alternating clockwise. At the end, each player will have a completely exposed 4x4 grid. Adjacent cards with the same number are removed, and the final score is the sum of the remaining cards. The winner is the player with the lowest score. Alternatively, it is possible to play over multiple rounds until one player reaches 100 points, in which case, again, the player with the lowest overall score wins.
