The Marchioness de Gattis, with the help of her loyal henchmen, has erected workshops and sawmills to consolidate her dominion over the Woods. Under the yoke of the noblewoman, as feared as she is ruthless, the inhabitants of the glades have decided to unite and form the Alliance of the Woods.

The Alliance will fight to rebel and overthrow the power of the Cats, also seeking the help of the vagabonds, men and women out of the ordinary, with elusive morals, who know the darkest and most dangerous paths of the Woods. Meanwhile, at the borders of the territory, the proud and discordant Dynasty of the Eagles has found a new commander, determined to lead his faction in the reconquest of the Woods, a right he considers ancestral. Now, the ground is set for a battle that will decide the fate of the Woods and its inhabitants.
