Root - The River Company is an expansion for the asymmetric board game Root, which introduces two new factions to the four already present in the base game: the River Merchants and the Lizard Cult. In addition to increasing the maximum number of players up to 6, these new characters will offer completely different gaming experiences, destabilizing the balance of the base game's factions with increasingly innovative and engaging mechanics. You will also find a cooperative game mode that will allow you to play alone or with up to 6 players together.

Root continues the tradition of asymmetric games from the acclaimed Leder Games. In this adventure, you will have the opportunity to embody one of the animal factions fighting for dominion over a valley populated by decidedly unique creatures. Each faction offers a unique gaming experience, both for the actions available and the methods of victory.
