After an era of Imperial peace, the lands have fallen into a dark age of fragmented holdings, endless skirmishes, malevolent religions, ruin, and gloom. Who will now care for the communities?

Once upon a time…

Beyond is a cooperative game that immerses you in an adventurous world, where you and other players take on the role of brave Rangers charged with protecting a Satrapy (an administrative province). Your mission is to rebuild a Fortress to ensure the safety and well-being of the inhabitants.

Now it's your turn to join the ranks of these brave Rangers! Each Ranger is given tasks to complete, assigned by their superiors. Completing these tasks is the key to victory. During the game, a story called the Chronicle will unfold, introducing new situations that the Rangers will have to face. If they can keep their cool and work together, they will reach the final chapter of the Chronicle and conclude their adventure. To get a happy ending, they will have to complete their assignment to the best of their ability.

Along the way, the Rangers will face Tasks , short scenes in which they must earn fame or face the consequences of failure. They will also have to help the Satrapy Communities when they find themselves in difficulty due to Troubles that threaten their safety, and deal with Unforeseen Events that can jeopardize their path.

Beyond is a game where cooperation between Rangers is essential. As a close-knit group, they will have to face the challenges of a dangerous world, where life in the Satrapy is harsh and situations can become extremely complex. Players are encouraged to share ideas and strategies to overcome difficulties together.
