Nova Lectio Status is the official Nova Lectio board game, a strategic experience for 2-4 players set in a nation on the brink of collapse. With games lasting approximately 30-45 minutes, it puts you in charge of a rival faction ready to do anything to seize power.

After years of tensions and internal unrest, the country is now divided. Four factions are vying for control of the State, and only those who can best manage international crises, popular consensus, economic resources, diplomacy, and military strength will emerge as the new ruler. In Nova Lectio Status, you will have to send your officials to key places of power, deal with delicate issues, and balance strategy, opportunism, and political vision.

The four factions offer different and highly distinctive approaches. Reason of State considers diplomacy its most powerful weapon: it deals with anyone, even the most uncomfortable interlocutors, in order to maintain balance and protect stability. Every decision is carefully considered, but the line between pleasing everyone and losing general support is thin.

The New Militia speaks the language of force. Tanks, bombs, toxic gas, and ballistic missiles are its preferred tools, while diplomacy is seen as a useless obstacle. Winning with violence may seem the quickest way, but a crucial question remains: what will be left to govern after the war?

The People's Fist promises to overthrow the elites and give a voice back to those who have been forgotten. Between justice, redemption, and fiery slogans, it presents itself as the only possible alternative in a corrupt world. But even the noblest revolutions can succumb to the temptation of power.

The Invisible Hand follows only one faith: money. Political influence, weapons, alliances, and people all have a price. Always ready to side with whoever offers the most, it feigns neutrality while pulling strings in the shadows, but even the coldest plan can falter in the face of unpredictable market fluctuations.
