Citizens of a distant land, you have arrived in the wondrous capital of a rising empire. You are strangers to this world filled with spies, shapeshifters, assassins, and the unquiet dead. The immortal Emperor has eyes and ears everywhere, and his arm can reach into your homeland, while sinister designs are woven in secret. The path you follow and the choices you make could spell the fate of all the lands of Kaan.
Fateforge - The Chronicles of Kaan is an action adventure game. Easy to learn and quick to set up, the story can be broken down into 60-minute sessions (or more if you prefer to play longer). The campaign requires over 30 hours of play in which the rules evolve as the story unfolds.
Fateforge mixes the dynamic action of a video game and the complex narrative of a fantasy novel. The combat mechanics recall the vividness of the fight scenes of action movies while also allowing for great characterization of the characters. Exploring the map and the places where the story is set will immerse you in a colorful world, populated by characters who will react to your actions and who will greatly influence the choices you will have to make when you find yourself at a crossroads. Depending on whether you win each fight or not, the story will unfold differently and will take one turn rather than another, ultimately leading you to a great variety of different endings.
