Beyond the mists of a forgotten sea lies Alula, a mysterious continent in constant change, shaped by the cycle of the seasons. Venture through enchanted landscapes, discover unknown civilizations and collect testimonies of its wonders to surpass other explorers in fame!

Faraway is a long-term strategy, set collection, and simultaneous draft board game where planning is everything… but backwards!

A game of Faraway takes place over 8 rounds. Each turn, you will choose and place an exploration card from left to right: each card represents a region visited on your journey. You will discover curious creatures, natural wonders and inhabitants with specific needs. Satisfying their requests will be the key to gaining fame and getting closer to victory!

At the end of the journey, you will retrace your path backwards, turning the cards over to their main side and evaluating them from right to left. Only those who have planned carefully will be able to make the most of this unique mechanic, where fame is earned on the way back, and every past choice can become decisive.

In Faraway, everyone plays at the same time: every decision must be carefully considered, as acting last can limit your future choices… but it could also open the doors to powerful Sanctuaries, useful for completing the inhabitants' missions.
