Board game in Italian. Duration: 90 min Players: 2-4 Age: 10+
Amygdala is a board game that transports players to an abstract and tactical universe, where emotions take center stage on the playing surface. The amygdala, the part of the brain that regulates emotions, is the beating heart of the entire gaming experience. Each player must collect emotional resources and store them in their memory archive, which has a limited capacity, in order to unlock emotion tiles. These tiles, when placed in the seven colored areas of the board, allow players to create emotional connections and earn victory points. The goal is to dominate the different areas to accumulate as many points as possible both during the game and at its conclusion.
In Amygdala , each player starts with a personal board and must manage resources strategically to obtain emotion tiles. During the game, players are called upon to make crucial choices about how and where to place emotion tiles to build winning networks. The secret to success is finding the right balance between resource collection and strategic tile placement, trying to obtain the majority in the various regions and thus maximize victory points.
