Paint with the spray can held vertically in quick, thin passes about 25cm apart, allowing 5 minutes to dry between coats.

Once you have finished painting, turn the can upside down and hold the nozzle in this position for a few seconds, until no more paint comes out of the diffuser, thus avoiding blocking the diffuser.
