Deep Shades are formulated to achieve quick and easy shading on small scale miniatures while maintaining an overall matte finish.

They make painting miniature armies easy and efficient, allowing you to work in three simple steps: Base - Deep Shadow - Light. They are formulated with micro-dispersed pigments (less than a micron) in pure acrylic resins to lightly tint volumes and accentuate the contrast of shadows where the color accumulates.

The product has a perfect balance between fluidity and viscosity, the latter being higher than that of enamels to facilitate pigment retention in creases and corners, an essential aspect when working on models that usually maintain a vertical position.

They have a perfect grip and resistance, a special formula that avoids bubbles. Once dry, they do not reactivate with water or with their medium. It is recommended not to wet the application areas to avoid slowing down the drying time.

It is recommended to apply two light coats if you want to deepen the effect and to use the Deep Shades medium (AK13010) if you need more transparency or want to reduce the contrast.
