Warp Trader was born on a sunny autumn afternoon to answer a question: how to get out of a dead end, a blocked game?
By changing the game plan? Maybe it would have been enough to slightly modify the moves while maintaining the previous system of rules. Maybe that would have been enough, sure.
But a feeling had been developing for some time. At first almost imperceptible, an intuition blurred at the edge of consciousness. But like all the things that, despite the efforts, you can't deny a meaning, it had silently and inexorably grown.
The game, the rules, the moves, it was all rigged.
And then something more drastic, something more radical was needed. The gaming table had to be overturned. Revolutionize the field, the pieces, the rules. Escape from the dead end by breaking through the boundary of the labyrinth. Damn if on the other hand there would have been the unknown, if it meant starting from scratch. Some would have thought we lacked courage and madness. And on the other hand, the desire to see what was on the other side of the journey was stronger than everything else.
And so Warp Trader was born.
